Walking down the hall with glassy eyes,
A mirror caught me by surprise,
The mask I made well hid me,
Its innocence blinding all who see,
The scars inside burst and swelled,
As if a giant had been felled,
The secret now coming near,
Brought to light my darkest fear,
Although the glass reflected well,
It brought to light my darkest hell,
Who am I, I asked myself,
What defines me?
And who is the monster in the mirror?
